Custom Washers in Any Diameter
A washer with exactly the outer and inner diameter your design needs; the template is called "Washer / Spacer" in the configurator. The laser cuts it flat from the sheet, with no stamping burr and no rolled edge, in every thickness the material comes in. It pays wherever standard washers do not fit: large bearing faces, unusual bores, thin shims or a material that no standard part is made of.

What it is for: Large washers for timber and facade work, shims and spacers in spring steel from 0.2 mm, spacer washers for shafts and axles, stainless washers in odd sizes, cover discs for holes, blanks without a hole for welding on.

Price per piece incl. VAT, plus shipping, computed when this page loads with the configurator's own formula. The sizes follow the large washers of DIN 9021 for M6, M10 and M16. Other thicknesses, spring steel and structural steel are available in the configurator.
The limits that matter for this washer
- Size: 8 to 200 mm outer diameter, inner diameter from 0 to 150 mm. At 0 mm you get a blank without a hole.
- Thickness: steel DC01 in 1 to 2.5 mm, stainless 1.4301 in 1 to 5 mm, aluminium AlMg3 in 1 to 4 mm, spring steel C75S in 0.2 to 1 mm, structural steel S355MC in 3 to 6 mm.
- Ring: the web between the hole and the outer edge should be at least as wide as the sheet is thick, or the washer warps while it is cut. The configurator only warns well below that.
- Tolerance: ISO 2768-m, which is ±0.1 mm up to 6 mm and ±0.2 mm up to 30 mm diameter. For a washer that sits on a shaft, make the hole 0.2 mm larger than the nominal size.
- Surface: the washer comes bright off the laser, with a slight heat tint on the edge; deburring is available. Galvanising or hardening is not something we offer.
Common questions about custom washers
- Is a laser-cut washer as good as a stamped one?
- For bearing and shimming, yes, often better: the laser edge is square and has no stamping burr, so the washer lies flat. It does not replace hardened washers for locking or high-strength joints, since it has no heat treatment.
- Which thickness for shims?
- Spring steel C75S comes in 0.2, 0.3, 0.5, 0.8 and 1 mm. Combining thicknesses lets you take up play in 0.1 mm steps. For thicker spacers, take steel or stainless up to 5 mm.
- Do you have DIN 125 or DIN 9021 sizes?
- No stock, but every size: enter the standard's outer and inner diameter and the laser cuts exactly that. The examples in the table are the large washers of DIN 9021; for DIN 125 take about 12 × 6.4 mm for M6 and 20 × 10.5 mm for M10.
- Can the hole be square, or a slot?
- Yes, in the sketcher. Open the template there, replace the circle with a square for carriage bolts or a slot for adjustment, and the price updates.
- Is it still worth it at 500 pieces?
- The price per piece drops with quantity; the table shows the steps up to 100. From a few hundred washers in a standard size, stamped stock is usually cheaper; for odd sizes, stainless or spring steel the laser stays competitive even then. Enter the quantity in the configurator and the price is there at once.
