Steel DC01 (1.0330)
Cold rolled unalloyed sheet to EN 10130, material number 1.0330. Cold rolling buys an even surface and thickness tolerances that hot rolled cannot hold, and the low carbon leaves enough ductility for a tight bend. It is bare steel: it rusts, and the mill oil on it protects nothing past delivery.

Steel S355MC (1.0976)
Thermomechanically rolled fine grain structural steel to EN 10149-2, material number 1.0976. The strength comes out of the rolling schedule rather than out of the alloy, so it is about 50 % stronger than S235 while staying fully weldable and cold formable. Unalloyed, so it rusts.
